Enertech ? RTV Silicone Gasket Maker

Product Description
With the touch of a finger, you can create a gasket of any
size or shape. Unique dispenser keeps product fresh longer and is more
economical to use than a cartridge or tube. RTV gasket material skins in about
fifteen (15) minutes, and cures completely in twenty-four (24) hours. Product
will not shrink or crack when used as directed.
Not Recommended for use where there will be direct contact
with gasoline, fuel oil, diesel, caustic, or acid solutions. Paint will not
adhere to Silicone RTV.
All of these products are of the same composition,
differing only in color.
Uses
Any color can be used for any use, however the traditional
uses by color are:
Black or Blue RTV: Oil pans, thermostat housings, water
pumps, valve covers, oil pumps, timing gears, transmission pans, axle covers,
etc.
Clear: Used to seal, insulate, or fix; electric wiring,
windshields, plumbing leaks, floor tiles, windows, gaskets, etc.
Directions
- Completely remove old gasket material.
- Use a non-flammable cleaner to remove oil and grease.
Make certain surface is clean and dry.
- Hold can upside-down and exert side pressure on
dispensing stem with you finger. Draw an even bead of RTV (1/16? to 1/8? wide)
on one mating surface.
- Using clean, dry cloth, or knife, remove any excess RTV
Silicone.
- Wait approximately five (5) minutes for bead to begin to
?skin? before assembling parts. Be sure parts are properly aligned when
assembling. Be careful not to over-tighten bolts.
Storage
Do not store in temperatures above 120?F (50?C). Do not
puncture, incinerate, or burn can. Do not place near sources of heat.
